Divine Mother's Love

Late afternoon, on a sunny summer day in Navajo Nation, Utah. The valley is framed by monuments left standing as if to salute the visitors that find themselves immersed in the presence of what was once a canyon. But the monuments - standing precariously in the face of erosion - are not the only beings that frame the valley. Up above, Divine Mother shows her face - blows a heart.

Just as the sky tolerates the clouds that are always passing - never leaving an imprint - the one who is awakened is aware of actions, movements, sensations, perceptions, thoughts, feelings and emotions but does not allow them to make an impression in their inner most Being. In fact, the awakened one knows that they are not doing anything - they are just letting it all unfold.

Captured in this picture, the Divine Mother shows Her love to the hustle and bustle of this Navajo family who is trying to make ends meet by operating three separate businesses - requiring them to wake up before sunrise and to remain working long after sunset. Divine Mother shares Her love to the passing visitors who stay long enough to understand that Her beauty is out of their world. And, as the evidence of the unreality of time, Divine Mother sends Her love to all who see this picture and recognize that it is in fact - a mirror.
